In the world of manufacturing, where machinery and production lines buzz with activity, safety is utterly critical and Blowplast has a special obligation to protect its most valuable assets —the employees—, and everyone. At Blowplast, we’ve continued our unwavering commitment to safety since our founding. Fostering a culture of safety in Blowplast is not just about complying with regulations; it’s about valuing the well-being of employees and every individual within the organization. From investing in comprehensive safety training on fire safety, first aid, Kaizen, and machine safety, Blowplast makes sure to enhance productivity and reduce costs associated with accidents.

Safety is our anthem, reflected in our ’10 Commandments of Safety’ which we live by daily because we know many workplace injuries can be prevented by simply taking measures. Our ’10 Commandments of Safety’ seek to address that;

• Everyone is responsible for his and other people’s safety. 
• All accidents are preventable. 
• Always follow company rules and procedures. 
• Always assess the risks, stop and think. 
• Be proactive about safety. 
• If you are not trained to do it, do not do it. 
• During manual handling, manage the lift. 
• Don’t take shortcuts. 
• Practice good housekeeping.  
• Always be prepared.

By addressing key causes of injuries through proactive risk assessment, training, implementation of safety protocols, fostering a culture of vigilance and accountability, and continuous improvement, Blowplast mitigates risks and creates a safer working environment.

Even though our commitment has remained the same, we’ve routinely reviewed and improved our approach as it isn’t a one-time endeavor; it’s an ongoing journey that requires unwavering commitment, active participation and continuous improvement. Blowplast embraces the Kaizen philosophy which means continuous improvement by constantly refining processes and safety measures to improve safety standards. In Blowplast, we believe in “A day can’t end without implementing Kaizen”. By taking the time and reminding our employees of a few common-sense safety provisions and carefully taking their feedback into account, we are building a strong workplace culture of safety.
